Is Ctrl+G free to join?
Yes. Joining the community and being listed in the directory is currently free. We built this to connect creatives first, not to gatekeep access.
Do I have to join the Discord to be in the directory?
Nope. You can apply for the directory without joining the Discord. That said, verification badges are currently reserved for active community members inside the Discord space.
How do I get verified?
For us, verification is not about status. It is about participation. Creators who complete onboarding and stay active in the community receive a verification badge. It signals that you are present and engaged.
Is there a fee for Studio projects?
Yes. For Studio projects, creators currently contribute 10% of the agreed project value. This supports project coordination, contracts, payment processing, and the continued growth of the Ctrl+G network. There are no hidden fees.
Do I keep the rights to my work?
Always. You retain full ownership of everything you upload. Ctrl+G does not claim your work.
Can I still work independently outside of Ctrl+G?
Absolutely. Ctrl+G does not restrict your independent work. We are here to expand your access, not limit it.
