Welcome to Ctrl+G. By accessing or using this website and its related services, you agree to the following Terms of Use.

1. About Ctrl+G

Ctrl+G is a creative collective and coordination platform connecting independent creators and businesses across the Caribbean.

Ctrl+G operates as a facilitator and coordinator. It is not an employer, agency of record, or legal partner of any creator or business unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in paid Studio projects.

Individuals under 18 may join the community and directory; however, participation in paid Studio work requires verifiable parental or legal guardian consent.

By using this platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Creator Listings

Creators submit information through third-party forms. Listings are reviewed manually and may be approved, declined, or removed at Ctrl+G’s discretion.

Creators retain full ownership of their submitted work and intellectual property.

Ctrl+G may feature publicly submitted work for promotional purposes with appropriate credit.

4. Studio Projects

Studio projects are coordinated collaborations between businesses and selected creators.

Each project will define:

  • Scope

  • Deliverables

  • Timelines

  • Compensation

  • Intellectual property terms

Creators currently contribute 10 percent of the agreed project value to support the platform’s infrastructure.

Businesses may be subject to a 2 to 3 percent service fee.

All fees are disclosed before project confirmation.

5. Payments

Payments may be processed in one of the following ways:

  • Through Ctrl+G as an intermediary via third-party payment providers.

  • Directly between business and creator, depending on project structure.

Ctrl+G is not responsible for tax obligations of creators or businesses. Each party is responsible for their own financial reporting and compliance.

6. Independent Status

Creators engaged through Ctrl+G operate as independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship.

7. Intellectual Property

Ownership of work produced through Studio projects is determined by the written agreement specific to that project.

Unless otherwise agreed, creators retain ownership of their pre-existing work.

8. Acceptable Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Engage in harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior

  • Submit false information

  • Misrepresent identity or work

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes

Ctrl+G reserves the right to suspend or remove users who violate these standards.

9. Limitation of Liability

Ctrl+G acts as a coordination platform. While we aim to support successful collaborations, we do not guarantee outcomes, performance, or business results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ctrl+G shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Any disputes arising from use of this platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.

11. Changes to Terms

Ctrl+G reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
